Speaking of paper..

I ordered my bridesmaids cards from Vista Print! I used one of their templates, but used my own words (well words that I thought were cute). I am testing them. I should have gotten my cards printed on linen, but since it was full color, I didn't. I want to design my own invitations. I need to make sketches, but someone *cough* Rob *cough* took my sketchbook when he lost his and never returned it! I have three or four different designs I have in mind. I like a printing kit at Target, of course it is on perpetual backorder. It's by Jean M. It's more beautiful than the cards I have seen in a catalog. I dread tying the ribbons on each one.

I am also looking for a monogram stamp with a space for either a simple 'C' or 'MCR'. I don't mind paying a lot of it, as I am sure that we will continue to use it throughout our marriage. The only problem is that most of the nicer monogram stamps are address stamps, and since we have no idea where we are going to live or even mail the invitations from. Plus I want to be able to use this on the favors and cards and so on. I am thinking I might do first line of the address "Miranda & Robert" second line of the address "The Clarks" the only problem is, since this stamps are made per order, you have no way of making sure that they are balanced.

Argh!

Here's a picture of a monogram that I am in love with from the Knot. I am pretty sure that I can duplicate this look in Adobe Illustrator, per the stamp tool, I am going to attempt it over the weekend while I have access to Gorgas!
